Using OpenKAT for the first time

The first time you log in to OpenKAT, you are guided through a short onboarding process. A detailed explanation on the onboarding process can be found at Onboarding.

The Onboarding completes with your first report, see Your first report.

The onboarding helps you configure OpenKAT and prepare it for your first use. You do not need to understand all of OpenKAT’s features to complete it. A not-so-technical explanation can be found at The OpenKAT philosophy.

Login & registration

Registration

As an administrator, you can register new users on the “Members page”. Read more about this page Members. Regular users should contact their system administrator.

Reset password

If you want to change your password, click on the profile menu on the top right and go to “Profile”. Then press “Reset password”. After entering your email address, a reset link will be sent to this email address.
